The Heirloom Board
The most sentimental of all our pieces, our Heirloom Board is something to treasure forever.
Send us a handwritten note or recipe and we will have it transcribed onto the timber.
Pictured here are some examples, including our own grandmother’s famous Chicken Curry recipe, in her own handwriting. It is our most favourite thing in our kitchen and a talking piece at every dinner party.
Dimensions: 32 x 48 x 2.5cm - Size is approx. and changes depending on the wood we have in stock.
In general, the boards are about the size of two A4 pages with the recipe/text (one A4 page) placed on half of the board, allowing for blank space to work, chop, or serve.
Note:
Once ordered we will be in touch by email or phone with directions, the 'how to' and what we would need from you.
The recipe/text would ideally be hand written in black ink pen (not biro) on a plain unlined white page. However, if it's an old recipe that has been in use for years we will do our best for you! The original will need to be posted to us, it will be well minded and returned with your finished Heirloom Board.
Please also allow 3-4 weeks for delivery (Ireland) following us receiving the handwritten text.
This board will not be stamped with our signature logo unless requested.
